Our Florida personal injury law firm has a long-standing tradition of building relationships with non-profit partners throughout the Tampa Bay region. Community service is a core value that guides our work every day. Our attorneys and staff are actively involved in many different endeavors aimed at improving our communities and making legal services available to those who cannot afford it. Below are some of the projects that we are working on.

Post 9/11 Veterans Services, Inc.

Post 9/11 Veterans offers free civil legal services to veterans across the Tampa Bay region. This past year, the organization provided legal assistance and education to more than 1,000 individuals, families and groups in the Tampa Bay community. The attorneys at The Florida Law Group are proud to volunteer their time and knowledge to those veterans in need.

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay offers a range of programs and services to help people struggling with crisis situations, including sexual assault and abuse, domestic violence, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, financial distress and other types of emotional trauma. With a team of volunteers, donors and community partners, the Crisis Center is committed to making sure that no one has to face a crisis alone. Each year the center responds to more than 160,000 requests for help from individuals and families throughout the Tampa Bay region. The Florida Law Group proudly works to support the critical services provided by the Crisis Center.

A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay, Inc.

A Kid’s Place is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing foster care and a loving home to abused, neglected and abandoned children in the Tampa Bay region. Over 5,000 children throughout Tampa Bay are currently in foster care, with 60 percent of these children being 5 years of age or younger. The Kid’s Place operates a 60-bed facility for children ranging from newborn to kids who are ready to age out of the foster care system. Since opening in 2009, the organization has provided a safe and loving home to more than 1,200 children and assisted over 550 families. We commend the important services and programs provided by A Kid’s Place of Tampa Bay and are proud to support the ongoing efforts of this life-changing organization.

Juvenile Justice and Criminal Justice System Reform

he Florida Law Group is actively involved in local and national efforts to improve the juvenile justice and criminal justice systems. We work with professional colleagues, politicians and judicial figures to make positive changes that help ensure our justice system is fair and effective to all involved.
