Profile
Nick Brady is a former prosecutor who was with the Office of the State Attorney for the 13th Judicial Circuit here in Tampa for over 10 years. There he was a deputy chief in one of the felony divisions and tried over 70 jury trials and handled hundreds of non-jury trials, evidentiary hearings, and depositions on cases ranging from misdemeanor DUIs to first-degree murder. Nick also spent time in specialty divisions handling arson, domestic violence, and gun and gang violence. Now, Nick is bringing his extensive courtroom experience to the Florida Law Group to help our clients.
Nick is a native of New Jersey where he was born and raised. He received his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey and then decided to leave the cold behind for the Sunshine state. He graduated law school at the number one trial advocacy school in the country: Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida.
Outside of the courtroom, Nick lives in Hillsborough County with his wife, Dixie. Like most people born in New Jersey, he’s a huge Bruce Springsteen fan. He’s a self-described “computer nerd” who enjoys building his own computers. And just because the courtroom does not give him enough of an audience, since 2016, he’s appeared in several local community theater productions – which is something he says he needs to do at least until juries are allowed to clap.
